Corner of Bridge and Jiboom St
We are excited to create even more opportunity for connections for Tahoe/Truckee mountain runners by kicking off a weekly social run on Tuesday evenings starting on May 17th to go through our 2022 running season until sometime mid-Fall.
These runs will depart from the Trout Creek Pocket Park, northwest corner of Bridge and Jiboom St (at the small park/picnic area adjacent to a small parking area). Meet at 5:45pm – run leaves at 6pm sharp.
Runs will be about an hour and will go a variety of directions depending on interest … Trout Creek Trail, Legacy Trail, Truckee Springs, Sawtooth, etc. Runners can choose the route and pace that is right for them. Here are some possible routes:
Please park on the street or at the Truckee Community Arts Center lot next to Alibi. Please DO NOT park in the Alibi parking lot.
Afterwards we hope that you will stay to hang out and grab a drink at Alibi Public House … or if you can’t make it for the run, we hope that you will come by to socialize starting around 6:45pm. The Alibi kitchen is currently closed on Tuesdays but you are welcome to bring outside food. Sometimes they have food trucks in their lot as well.
