Rainbow Run, Rock & Roll – May 31, 2026
This is a fun and easy volunteer morning helping our community on this awesome 5k race at the legacy trail. It is a 3 hour commitment at the hydration station, start and finish line station.

The Broken Arrow Skyrace – June 18-21, 2026
TRTER Diamond Peak Aid Station– July 18019, 2026
Experience Tahoe’s own hometown 100-miler as a vital member of the Donner Party Mountain Runners’ aid station team at the Sharon Fong Memorial AS at Diamond Peak for the 100K (Mile 29.5) and 100M (Mile 41.5 and Mile 74). Everyone will also receive DPMR swag and real food (not just gels and energy drinks!) before or after your shift.
The day is the busiest. First 100K runner at 11am, first 100M runner at 12:30pm and then solid until 6pm. We have arranged the sign-up in 6-hour shifts for daytime and a long shift for the overnight crew with dozing opportunities. If you have specific hours you can fill, please sign up for the shift that best suits your hours and leave a message with your details in the comments section of registration.
All volunteers that work at least one 6 hour shift will be entered into our lottery for a race entry to the 2027 TRTER race. One entry for each shift you work. Bonus to the overnight shifts – two entries! Your choice of distance (100 milers must have a qualifying race).
All positions meet at Diamond Peak Lodge, 1210 Ski Way, Incline Village, NV, 89451, unless noted. Please park as directed in the lower parking lot. Please leave dogs and pets at home. We encourage fun “Donner Party Mountain Runners” emigrant/pilgrim attire.

Point Mariah Trail Marathon – August 1, 2026

Volunteers are what make events like this such a success! Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Always a fun and challenging event – join us for our annual Racing Gnome Snowshoe Race! There will be two events – a 5K and a 10K distance race. All experience levels are encouraged to race! Typically the race requires all participants to run in snowshoes (shorter, lighter snowshoes designed for running are best), but in a year where the snow is thin on the course we may allow microspikes.

Canyons 100M – April 22, 2027
Join us deep in the heart of the Western States Trail at the Deadwood Aid Station in Foresthill! This is your chance to be part of one of the most iconic ultra-trail events in North America as 100-mile runners pass through Deadwood twice — first at mile 10.1 and again at mile 18.3 — as they tackle the rugged canyons, climb toward the infamous Swinging Bridge, and push on toward Auburn. Volunteers will help with food prep, food service, timing, refilling hydration, passing out snacks, aid station set-up, and generally keeping spirits high as runners work through the early miles of their 100-mile journey. There’s nothing quite like seeing the gratitude on a runner’s face when you hand them exactly what they need — be a hero at Deadwood!
