Over the last few years, we’ve noticed a build-up of trail running activity in June in the Truckee-Tahoe area. It so happens that we are incredibly fortunate to have two world-class mountain/trail/ultra running events on back-to-back weekends, and many of us are regular participants and volunteers at these two events: the Broken Arrow Skyrace and Western States.
In 2024, we took advantage of the many brands, athletes, and supporters in the area for the entire 10-14 day period by launching the inaugural Mountain Running Fest to showcase mountain and trail running in the Truckee-Tahoe area while also celebrating these two incredible events.
So we hope you will join us for one or many of our awesome events at the 2025 Mountain Running Fest: Truckee-Tahoe!
Join DPMR and our many fantastic partners for a celebration of trail and mountain running in the greater Truckee & North Tahoe area. We will be hosting and promoting a variety of awesome mountain running related events from June 16th to June 28th that tie together these two local, world-class running events.
With thousands of runners, families, running brands and businesses in town during this period, what better time to come together, showcase our amazing area and running community, and help support two events we cherish and admire.
