The Overlook Endurance Runs return to the Western States trails on October 15, 2016. DPMR members can receive a 10% discount code by emailing secretary@donnerpartymountainrunners.com. Register on ultrasignup for one of 3 distances – 50 km, 30 km and 15 km. With generous cutoff times, these races are great for runners of all ability level – participants have 10 hours to complete 50k, 8 hours to complete the 30k and 15k.
The 50k begins at 8:00am and the 15k and 30k events start at 10:00am.
Healdsburg Running Company is sponsoring kids races with two distances, at 11:00am at the Overlook Park (855 Pacific Street, Auburn, CA):
5 & under: Little Folks 100 Meter Challenge
17 & under: Kids Kilometer
Race Day Registration for the kids races is from 10am to 10:45am. For a $5.00 entry fee, participants will receive a T-shirt and a popsicle after the race.
All races finish at the American River Canyon Overlook Park (Auburn Dam Overlook) 855 Pacific Avenue, Auburn, CA. All runners and family members are invited to a post-race BBQ at the Overlook.
